There are a number of ways to travel to the venue. Once you arrive, you can enter the venue through double doors at the front or the side door.

Walking

If you live in Clifton, the venue is in fairly easy walking distance from within the village. There is path access to the venue.

Car

Parking is available at the venue, with some spaces at the front and also down the side of the building. If you park down the side of the building please ensure you park in the furthest space in to allow room for other people and don’t block the fire exit doors. If all of the car park spaces are full, you can park of the road outside the venue or on Church Street.

Bus

There is a bus stop within 150m (164yds) of the venue on Church Street, served by the 9A, 9B and 9C service. Visit the Stagecoach site for the bus timetable.

FAQs

What shall I bring to class?

If it’s your first class, you’re welcome to borrow a mat and props before deciding whether to invest in your own equipment.

Otherwise, please bring along:

  • A yoga mat

  • Yoga props you might want to use, such as blocks, bricks, a bolster, or a strap (a dressing gown belt works well too!)

  • Optional: A blanket for extra padding or cosiness during relaxation

  • Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement

  • A bottle of water

Having your own yoga kit is recommended for hygiene and energetic reasons if you attend classes regularly. However, if purchasing your own equipment isn’t possible for any reason, I’m happy to discuss options for a longer-term arrangement.

Is your yoga classes suitable for beginners?

Yes, classes are tailored to all levels, including complete beginners. If you are thinking about trying yoga for the first time, you are very welcome to join.

Are your yoga classes accessible?

It is important that the classes are accessible and inclusive. If you have access requirements, for example a health condition, injury, hearing problem or preferred communication style, I am committed to working with you and will do what I can to accommodate any access requests. If you have any questions about accessibility, please feel welcome to contact me to discuss further.

Practices are taught by ‘modifying up’ so you can choose the option that feels suitable for you. Everything is invitational.

You can find detailed access information about our venue on the All Saints Church Hall AccessAble page ↗.

How much do classes cost?

Classes are £10 for a drop-in, with your first class half price. Alternatively, you can purchase a block of 5 classes for £40, valid for 8 weeks from the date of purchase.

You can pay by cash at the class or via bank transfer. Payment details will be emailed to you after booking.

If cost is a concern, please don’t let that deter you from practicing yoga. I’m happy to discuss flexible payment options such as a concession or alternative arrangements to ensure classes remain accessible to everyone. Feel free to reach out, and we can work something out together.

What is your booking process?

Booking is essential, please book directly by emailing me at rhiannon@the-rest-is.yoga. I will respond to confirm your booking.

If you can no longer attend a class, I would be grateful if you could let me know in advance.

Before the session, you’ll be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire online via a link to Google Forms. If it is not possible to submit this online you can complete a paper copy at your first class. You are free to decide what, and how much, information you share, but please note the disclaimer – you are responsible for your own health if you do not disclose.

I’m unsure and want to learn more before joining a class. Can I contact you to discuss?

Of course! If you’re unsure about attending, please don’t hesitate to reach out by emailing me. I’m happy to answer your questions via email or arrange a phone chat to discuss further.

Every yoga teacher and class is unique, and it’s important to find the right fit for you. If my classes don’t feel like the right match, don’t be discouraged—it might just mean exploring a different style or teacher to find what works best for you.
